Meet Samira, an 18-year old Somali refugee in Kenya, as she discusses how the Lifeline radio has transformed her life, by giving her access to an education.

An orphan whose parents died during Somalia’s civil war, Samira lives in Dadaab’s Hagadera refugee camp - an existence that she says offers her no education. The teenager explains that the solar-powered radio has allowed her to receive vital information and has "changed a lot" in her life.
